This has become the "catchword" of the investment industry since Elliott Spitzer sued the investment banking, mutual find, and insurance industries for conflicts of interest. We take this very seriously, and want you to have as much information about your investments as you want, period.
We believe that as long as we are doing a good job for you, you'll stay with us.
We do not want to create any barriers between us and serving you, period.
At Leeward, transparency means:
You open a brokerage account in your name and transfer
your existing investments into it.
You grant Leeward a Limited Power of Attorney to make
trades within your account, and to withdraw quarterly fees.
If, at any time, you wish to cancel our Investment
Management Agreement, you merely revoke the Limited Power
of Attorney, period.
You get a statement each month from your custodian of
assets, as well as a confirmation of all trades;
You get a quarterly portfolio report from Leeward;
You may have online access to view your account; and
The only mutual funds our people invest in are the same
funds our clients invest in, and we trade our clients'
accounts first, always.
